DAVIE, Fla. – Instead of preparing for a playoff game as many fans expected, the Miami Dolphins were cleaning out their lockers on Monday. Many frustrated Fins fans are calling for change.
Everyone being evaluated at Dolphins camp in Davie was what Dolphins owner Stephen Ross promised, but so far all was quiet on the day that is known around the league as Black Monday.

So many people around the league were fired Monday, and it would be no surprise if some changes were made in South Florida as well soon.
"Eight and eight is not where this franchise needs to be or should be," said Head Coach Joe Philbin.
Yet that's exactly where the Dolphins find themselves, with the regular season ending with a playoff berth well within reach.
"We had opportunities, we got what we wanted...We just didn't make it happen," said Brent Grimes.
It sounded so simple. All Miami had to do was best a bad Jets team led by a rookie quarterback or beat a bad bills team, led by a third string quarterback and the wild-card spot was theirs.
"We just didn't make enough plays," said Mike Wallace. "What happened was we scored 7 points in 2 weeks when we had a playoff appearance on the line."
After the game, Ross promised to "look at everything." There is no doubt, jobs are on the line, General Manager Jeff Ireland, Offensive Coordinator Mike Sherman and Head Coach Joe Philbin are all feeling the heat and a crushing collapse to the season.
"I'm gonna talk to every single player, every single coach and we'll decide and determine 2014 at a later point in time," said Philbin.
The Dolphins will pick 19th in the 2014 NFL draft.
