MIAMI – A vehicle crashed into the water Thursday afternoon off the MacArthur Causeway in Miami, authorities said.
Miami Fire Rescue Capt. Ignatius Carroll said the crash happened behind Jungle Island.

According to Carroll, Miami-Dade police pulled the driver out of the water.
He said it appears that the driver was trying to commit suicide.
The driver's condition was not immediately released.
