POMPANO BEACH, Fla. - A dump truck crash caused traffic to back up for miles Monday afternoon on Interstate 95.
The dump truck rolled over in the southbound lanes of I-95, just south of Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach, about 12:19 p.m., said the Florida Highway Patrol.
The dump truck's left front tire blew out, causing the driver to lose control. It spilled dirt across four lanes.
FHP cleared the lanes by 3 p.m.
The driver was transported to the Broward Health Medical Center with minor injuries.
