Millions of people around the world were struggling Monday morning after attempts to post on Facebook failed. Many were calling it "Facepocolypse".
Users are able to log into the popular social website - but could not update their status.
The following message popped up:
By 9 a.m., some functionality had returned, including the ability for some people to post to business pages. However, commenting is still hit-or-miss and birthday wishes were not working.
Just before noon Monday things got back to normal and users could update their posts again.
"Earlier this morning, while performing some network maintenance, we experienced an issue that prevented some users from posting to Facebook for a brief period of time. We resolved the issue quickly, and we are now back to 100%. We're sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused," Facebook told Mashable.
