MIAMI – A South Florida law enforcement agency was forced to squash rumors of possible immigration arrests occurring through South Florida Wednesday.
Multiple posts on Twitter claimed round-ups were taking place at various locations in Miami-Dade County, including Miami Beach.

The posts used an old picture taken in 2015 of Department of Homeland Security buses on the street.
Miami Beach Police posted their own Tweet dispelling all the rumors, saying "contrary to rumors being shared, MBPD has confirmed that there is NO immigration operation currently underway in Miami Beach."
