The team returned to the university's Coral Gables campus Friday afternoon.

"They know what kind of season they had," said coach Jim Larranaga. "Everybody except the national champion loses, and every one of the 67 teams that loses feels very bad but will reflect back on the year they had and say, you know, we did a lot of great things."

"It means the world to us and especially for me, being a senior, being my last game as a Miami Hurricane, the outpour of love, it means a lot," said Julian Gamble.

Gamble, forward Kenny Kadji, center Reggie Johnson, and guards Durand Scott, Trey McKinney Jones, and Garrius Adams are all seniors.
