HOLLYWOOD, Fla. ā A motorcyclist was killed Thursday afternoon in a crash that shut down three lanes of traffic on southbound Interstate 95 in Hollywood.
The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. near Sheridan Street, causing massive delays during rush hour.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a motorcycle being driven by Joshua Pinilla, 20, slammed into the back of a Chrysler 300. He was thrown from his motorcycle and landed on the highway, where he was run over by an approaching tractor-trailer.
Pinilla was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sky 10 was above the crash as a body was covered by a white sheet in the middle of the highway.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
