One guest said she was stuck on the ride for an hour. She said they were taken off of the ride by fire officials strapping in the passengers with safety harnesses and pulling them up by ropes.

Pictures showed the car of the ride being stopped on a low point, so the passengers couldn't walk off of the ride.

Orlando fire officials said they were performing a "technical rescue" at Universal. No injuries were reported and fire officials said no other details were available other than the ride somehow got stuck.

Attempts were made to contact Universal Orlando about the incident, but has not received a response.

The Universal Orlando website describes the indoor, simulation ride as "an ultra-immersive, next generation thrill ride that blurs the line between fiction and reality."

No other details were immediately available.
