Firefighters battle 2-alarm junkyard fire in Opa-Locka

OPA-LOCKA, Fla. – Firefighters battled a junkyard fire in Opa-Locka that began Monday night.

The two-alarm fire began after 9 p.m. Monday at 12720 Alexandria Drive.

Firefighters worked to try and bring the fire under control with at least 26 pieces of equipment involved at the scene.

It's unclear how the fire began at this moment, but officials said there may have been several cars involved in the fire.

No injuries were reported.
