MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade firefighters are battling a brush fire in southwest Miami-Dade County.
Sky 10 was above the scene just after 3 p.m. on Wednesday as flames and heavy smoke could be seen in the area of Southwest 187th Avenue to 140th Street.

A Miami-Dade Fire Rescue helicopter poured water over the flames.
Fire rescue officials said they have the fire under control and are checking for hotspots.
The fire is expected to be extinguished within an hour.
The cause of fire is under investigation.
