Among the items tossed into the dumpster were flyers from a realtor and dozens of personal letters.

The restaurant owner who witnessed the trashing called the post office and the realtor who paid for the flyers.

“At first I thought she was just dumping out some trash. I didn’t think much of it, but when she flipped the bin over, I could clearly see it was mail and letters,” Louie Rondao told WINK-TV.

Special agents are now investigating the incident.

According to the report, throwing away mail is a federal crime.
