FLORIDA CITY, Fla. ā€“ A man from Florida City is facing multiple charges in the fatal shooting of his cousin.

Charlie Holley, 33, appeared in bond court Monday where he was denied bond for a second-degree murder charge.

According to police, Holley left his cousin's home on Northwest 12 Street and 9 Court on July 12 after having an argument with her. He then returned to the home with a gun and banged on the front door to be let inside.

Another cousin, who is eight months pregnant, said she went outside to talk to Holley and he slapped her in the face and then pistol-whipped her.

She said he screamed, "I'll shoot you and your kids. I'll shoot everybody in there."

She said the other cousin then came outside and told her to go inside for the safety of her unborn child.

According to the arrest report, Holley walked down the street before turning and shooting his cousin in her abdominal area.

She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
