TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -

You can call Florida Gov. Rick Scott grandpa.

The Republican governor's daughter just gave birth to a baby son.

The governor announced the news on Twitter writing, "@FLAnnScott and I welcome our new grandson, Quinton Pierre Georges Guimard, born today at 5:57pm, weighing 6 lbs. 13 oz. #ScottBabyWatch."

We have not yet seen a picture of the baby boy, but the governor posted the above picture this past weekend along with the Tweet, "Exciting time for our family. Allison is due in about a week & Jordan is due in 2 months. @FLAnnScott #ScottBabyWatch."

Local 10 News congratulates Gov. Scott on his growing family.
