Virgil Walker: Annette Anderson, Tyrone Walker found dead inside home

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The bodies of a woman and her grandson were found inside a home in Miami Gardens on Tuesday afternoon.

Police responded to the home at Northwest 207th Street and 34th Court about 12:40 p.m.

Family members identified the two victims as 67-year-old Annette Anderson (pictured, right) and her 19-year-old grandson, Tyrone Walker. Police didn't confirm their names.

"She was an angel," said Martha Williams, Anderson's aunt. "We're going to definitely miss her."

Police didn't say how either person was killed.

Family members said Walker moved to South Florida to go to school, and that Anderson was a minister at a local church.

"I'm sure whoever did this evil crime -- she prayed for them," said Williams.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
