A Volvo with red and blue flashing lights pulled over deputy Arthur Reeves, according to BSO. When Reeves, 32, stopped, two armed robbers got out of the Volvo and stole his sport utility vehicle. A third person stayed inside the Volvo.

The Florida Highway Patrol issued a BOLO (be on the lookout) for the red Volvo and Reeves' 2011 black Chevrolet Suburban with Florida tag ATLJ72.

Reeves has been with BSO since 2002.

Police believe the Volvo driven by the carjackers was stolen from a man near a gas station in Hollywood on Tuesday morning. In that robbery, the driver of a red Nissan Altima flashed red and blue lights at the driver of the Volvo, pulled him over, and then two armed carjackers got out and took his car.

Anyone with information is asked to call BSO at (954) 765-4321.
