Monroe County Sheriff's Office: Andrew Lewis points gun at roommate in fight over rent

STOCK ISLAND, Fla. - A 19-year-old man pulled out a pistol after arguing with his roommate over rent, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

When a deputy arrived at Harbor Shores Trailer Park at 5 p.m. Tuesday, he found Andrew Lewis there.

Lewis said his roommate owed him rent money, according to police. He said the two of them got into a fight and that during the fight, he got his pistol from his room because he "feared for his life."

Both Lewis' girlfriend and his roommate said Lewis pulled out the pistol.

The gun was found and taken as evidence. Lewis was arrested and booked into jail on charges of aggravated assault.
