Person of interest located in shooting death of Kissimmee officers, police say

KISSIMMEE, Fla.A person of interest sought in connection to a shooting Friday night that killed two Kissimmee police officers was located Sunday and questioned, police said.

Authorities Sunday located Maribe Gonzalez King (pictured below), the person of interest, and she was interviewed by detectives, but gave no further information about her questioning.

A U.S. military veteran with documented mental health issues was arrested for the murders of Sgt. Sam Howard and officer Matthew Baxter, both of whom were fathers.

Baxter, who was with the department for three years, died Friday night. Howard, a 10-year veteran, died Saturday.

Authorities arrested Everett Glenn Miller, a 45-year-old U.S. Marine not in active duty. He was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and was held without bond.

Two police officers in Jacksonville were also shot Firday. The accused gunman in Jacksonville incident was killed.
