POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office deputies were investigating a fatal crash Friday in Pompano Beach.
Two vehicles collided about 7 p.m. at 2700 NE 14 St. One driver died at the scene and another was hospitalized.

"I did all that I could do for both drivers. I managed to pull out the driver in the black vehicle, but I could not save the man that was in the other vehicle as he was completely pinned down as the gas was leaking," Todd Moore said in tears.
Moore said several people who heard the vehicles collide rushed to help. One man brought an extinguisher.
"The man's body -- lower legs were pinned to the passenger side," Moore said. "When he was thrown to the right ... there was nothing I could do."
