MARATHON, Fla. - Two men were arrested in the Florida Keys after deputies said they were caught with hundreds of illegal lobster.

Monroe County Sheriff's deputies said one of their marine patrol deputies came across the two men early Sunday morning.

He said he saw the men approaching shore in Marathon with no running lights.

He said the two men got off their boat carrying a large gray box.

The deputy checked inside the box and found 332 wrung lobster tails. 304 of the tails turned out to be undersized.

Ernesto Rua Pinera, 41, of Homestead and Raudel Rubio, 26, of Marathon, were arrested and booked into the Monroe County Jail.

They are both charged with violating fishing regulations.
