During the event, chocolate lovers can enjoy cooking demonstrations, lectures, cocao or coffee plant sales and of course lots of chocolate sampling. At the Edible Garden, vendors will be there to teach the process of making chocolate from scratch. If that's not enough, the festival also offers a Chocolate Spa, complete with mini massages, manicures, and a yoga class.

During the Choco Walk people can walk through the Rainforest, Conservatory, Tropical Fruit Pavilion, and Garden House to smell chocolate-scented orchids, taste chocolates from around the world, and participate in the interactive demonstration "From Bean to Beverage" presented by The Historic Division of Mars. At the new DiMare Science Village, people can also see the Wings of the Tropics butterfly exhibit.
