FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Broward County Aviation Department is holding a disaster training drill at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport next week.
The drills will be held on Wednesday, November 7, and Thursday, November 8.
The drill will not impact travelers or motorists arriving to or departing from the airport.
As part of the airport's Part 139 Certification, disaster drills are required every three years. The Broward County Aviation Department conducted its last drill in May 2011.
