Police say Yimei Wang, Landing Qiao accepted cash for sex acts

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. ā€“ Two women who work at different massage parlors in Hollywood were arrested Tuesday on prostitution charges.

Hollywood police said Yimei Wang, 56, and Landing Qiao, 53, were arrested in an undercover operation targeting "escort/body rub" services on the website Backpage.com.

According to Wang's arrest affidavit, a detective posing as a customer at Sunshine Oriental Spa and Massage paid $50 for a 30-minute massage. While in a back room, the detective asked about a sex act, and Wang told him it would cost $60 more for a "hand job," the report said.

Wang was arrested after accepting the cash.

The report said there were "large amounts of hand sanitizer, lotions, wipes and empty condom wrappers and condoms" inside the business.

Police said Wang admitted that she wasn't a licensed massage therapist in the state of Florida.

According to Qiao's arrest affidavit, another detective posing as a customer at Hollywood Asian Spa paid $40 for a 30-minute massage in a back room. When he asked about a sex act, Qiao said it would cost an additional $100, the report said.

Qiao was arrested after the detective gave her the cash for it.

Police said Qiao admitted that she wasn't a licensed massage therapist in Florida.

Wang and Qiao also face charges of operating a massage establishment without a license.Ā
