Hollywood police make it easier for public to obtain reports

New police-to-citizen website allows for easy access to arrest, incident reports

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – Hollywood police are making it easier for citizens to obtain police reports.

The Hollywood Police Department unveiled its new police-to-citizen website, p2c.hollywoodfl.org.

The new website allows the public to search, view and print free arrest, incident and traffic reports filed by city police.

"We are excited about this new resource for Hollywood residents, media and anyone who wants to gain access to police reports," Hollywood police Chief Tomas Sanchez said. "This program is a convenient tool that provides information in a timely manner. We want to be as transparent as we can be without compromising our investigations."

The website will not make public any active investigations, homicides, sex crimes and fraud cases.

Anyone needing an official copy of a record will still need to go to the Hollywood Police Department.
