Man robs a series of Farm Stores in Hialeah

Police release surveillance video

HIALEAH – Hialeah police are searching for a man who they say robbed at least three Farm Stores within a week.

Officials were able to obtain surveillance video from one of the stores in Hialeah, where it shows the suspect wearing a hoodie, white pants and glasses.

"We know he did one robbery in the morning and the other two in the evening," said Carl Zogby, of Hialeah police. "He could come in at any time. So far he hasn't shot anyone, but we want to catch him before he does."

The manager of that store said the robbery happened around 9 p.m. on Jan. 14.

She said the armed man came in through the front door and demanded money from the cash register.

"He took some money and a pack of cigarettes and then left," said the manager.

The crook did make one big mistake: he took his hoodie off at one point and showed his face to the camera.

Officials are now searching for neighboring businesses that may have surveillance cameras showing a possible getaway car.
