TEQUESTA, Fla. – A local man said he was abducted, stuffed in the trunk of his car, driven around and then beaten on Wednesday morning.
Tequesta Police said the man claimed he was abducted at about 5 a.m. near 574 Dover Rd.

Tequesta is northwest of Jupiter.
After he was abducted at gunpoint, the man said he was stuffed in the trunk and taken to some woods in Palm Beach Gardens.
He then said he was beaten up, stuffed back in the trunk and driven somewhere else.
He said his abductor then left in another car, so he freed himself and ran to a nearby house for help.
The man was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
Police are investigating.
