MIAMI - A meeting was held Wednesday over the proposed Walmart in Midtown Miami.
The city's planning director met with three opponents to the plan. Many living in the neighborhood believe Walmart's plans for a store between Northeast 31st Street and 29th Street don't fit the city's original plans for the area.
Walmart has made several minor adjustments to the proposal and the city could make a decision within weeks.
The city can either approve or deny the project, or approve it with special condition.
