NEW YORK CITY - The NFL released its list of 2013 Hall of Fame semifinalists on Friday, and 3 have ties to the Miami Dolphins.
Among the 27 modern-day semifinalists picked, the only former Dolphins player is wide receiver Cris Carter who played for Miami in 2002.
Former Dolphins' front office gurus George Young and Bill Parcells also made the cut.
That list will be whittled down to 15 modern finalists in January.
From that list, 4-to-7 new members will be selected.
