DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – A 79-year-old mom went missing on Mother's Day, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said Claudia Thomas was last seen at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday at her daughter's home in Deerfield Beach.

Thomas, who was not supposed to be driving because she suffers from dementia, got into her car and drove away.
She was last seen wearing a lavender dress and slippers.
Thomas is driving a 2003 silver Ford Taurus, with Florida license plate number L208GA.
