HOMESTEAD, Fla. - The 930th Army Liaison Team of the Florida Army National Guard headed back to Afghanistan.
A departure ceremony was held in Homestead on Monday for the 25 members who are being deployed.
They will receive training at Camp Shelby, Miss., before traveling to eastern Afghanistan. The unit will perform liaison duty between U.S. and coalition forces along the Pakistani border.
"All the guys are extremely motivated," said Sgt. Maj. Ben Ullery. "There's not one person here that doesn't want to be here, and that makes all the difference in the world."
