HIALEAH, Fla. – An woman died after she was hit by a car in Hialeah Tuesday morning, police say.
Police said a driver in a gray pickup truck hit the woman who was walking in the area of West 16th Ave. and 53rd Street.
Witnesses said the pickup truck was parked nearby and the driver appeared to go forward instead of backward, jumped the curb, and hit the woman.
The same truck then hit a school bus. No one on the bus was hurt.
The driver stayed at the scene.
Police are investigating the crash.
