Miami-Dade County parks celebrate the 4th of July with a free concert at Oak Grove Park, free fireworks at Black Point Marina and discounted admission at Zoo Miami. Oak Grove Park free "Tropical Nights" concert: 7 p.m. at 690 NE 159th Street, Miami; Black Point Marina free fireworks display: 9 p.m. at 24775 SW 87th Avenue, Miami; $5 Days Zoo Miami: July 4-7 from 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at 12400 SW 152nd Street, Miami

Bayfront Park: Free kids' zone, food and beverages, pony rides, a petting zoo, a family contra dance, and one of the largest fireworks displays in South Florida! Park is open all day.

Begin your Independence Day celebration with a good old-fashioned picnic at The Barnacle Historic State Park, 3485 Main Highway in the heart of Coconut Grove. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the whole family can enjoy traditional board games, crafts, a scavenger hunt, and more. Learn to make and fly your own kite. Pack your own picnic lunch or purchase hot dogs, burgers and other treats from The Barnacle Society. Entry is $5 for adults, $3 for kids ages 6 to 12, and free for kids under six.

Bianca at Delano
Enjoy an all-American Backyard barbecue at Bianca at the Delano hotel. Feast on ribs, seafood, White Truffle ice cream and other treats while the kids enjoy activities and the Joshua Stedman band performs. $75 per person.4 p.m. - 10 p.m. 1685 Collins Ave, Miami Beach.

The Mondrian
Hang out by Mondrian's picturesque pool while enjoying barbecue snacks and festive drinks. Asia de Cuba offers a special, Independence Day menu of American favorites with a Latin twist. Shore Club
Get suited up for the One Nation Pool Party at the Shore Club complete with a selection of barbecue items, frozen drinks and beer along with beats by DJ Triarchy and RS^2. Open to the public, $20 cover charge. Noon at Shore Club, 1901 Collins Ave., Miami Beach.

Juvia
Lincoln Road hotspot Juvia is offering two seatings on the Fourth of July. Get there at or before 7:30 p.m. and you can enjoy their menu which features an array of crudo, delectable entrees and craft cocktails along with a nice view of Miami Beach's fireworks display. Or reserve for 10 p.m. for post-fireworks dining. 1111 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach.

IndepenDance Fireworks Cruise aboard The Musette Yacht
This special event not only gives you the opportunity to enjoy an open bar and music by a live DJ, your appetite will also be satisfied as a full dinner buffet will be provided on board. The City of Miami will present the 9th Annual 4th of July Family Fest and Rib Cook-Off on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Charles Hadley Park, located at 1350 NW 50th Street from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

City of South Miami is celebrating the Fourth of July at Palmer Park 6100 SW 67 Avenue, South Miami, Florida.  Fireworks at 9 p.m.  Live entertainment, children's zone, food and beverages.

The City of Homestead's annual Fourth of July celebration, "Race to the 4th," will be hosted for its fourth year at the Homestead-Miami Speedway on Thursday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event will feature family entertainment, live music, children's rides, food and drinks, games and a magnificent Independence Day fireworks display.

Miami Beach Celebrates Independence Day with "Coca-Cola Presents Fire on the Fourth Miami Beach." The festivities on Thursday begin at 7 p.m. and conclude with fireworks at 9 p.m. The Fire on the Fourth celebration on Ocean Drive includes a free live concert by Nicole Henry.

Spectacular City of Doral Independence Day celebration with a FREE concert and fireworks show at JC Bermudez Park, 3000 NW 87th Ave; Thursday, July 4, 2013 7 p.m., fireworks at 9 p.m.    

Join the City of Coral Gables, HBO Latin America, 396 Alhambra, and the Biltmore Hotel to Celebrate July 4th Fireworks. This year's celebration, free to the general public, will begin at 5 p.m. and will include a special concert by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band at 7 p.m., concessions, patriotic mascots, and the fireworks show will begin promptly at 9 p.m.

Spectacular fireworks display at Peacock Park in Coconut Grove.  This annual celebration features activities throughout the Grove during the day, including The Barnacle's Old-Fashioned Picnic from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., CocoWalk's 5th Annual Independence Day Hot Dog Eating Competition at 3:00 p.m., and The Taurus Turns 4 on the 4th BBQ bash beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Fireworks show at 9 p.m.
