Frost Museum of Science has new board

Phillip and Patricia Frost move project forward

MIAMI – In an effort to move forward with the construction of the Frost Museum of Science in downtown Miami, the board of trustees was reconstituted.   

The 41 members of the board of trustees voted themselves out Wednesday to accommodate the condition of a new loan.

Phillip and Patricia Frost will help to pay Skanska to move forward with the project.

They do not expect to recoup the loan, after Miami-Dade County finalizes a $45 million grant. 

Aside from the Frost, the two other new members of the board were Cesar Alvarez and Richard Pfenniger
