The American crocodile has a V-shaped snout, a grayish color and usually prefers saltwater.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission is looking for candidates to fill part-time positions as Crocodile Response Agents.

The agents would serve southern Miami-Dade County and the upper Florida Keys by carrying out site visits, carcass recoveries, and the capture and relocation of crocodiles. Hours would vary by the season and calls.

Candidates with experience handling crocodiles are preferred but training will be provided.
