MIAMI – The Miami Department of Fire-Rescue has given the all clear after a possible gas leak was reported Tuesday morning at a Miami elementary school.
Miami Fire-Rescue spokesman Capt. Ignatius Carroll Jr. said the leak was reported at Morningside Elementary at 6620 NE Fifth Ave.

A Miami-Dade County Public Schools representative said firefighters did not smell gas at the school but confirmed there was some kind of odor coming from the area.
Carroll said that a possible pilot light on a stove in the cafeteria went out.
All students have been allowed to return to class.
