HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – A 12-year-old girl died Sunday from injuries she sustained in a hit-and-run crash.
Shania Jackson was crossing the street in the 600 block of Foster Road on the afternoon of November 18 when a car hit her. The driver then drove off, police say.
Several hours after the crash, a red Dodge sedan with front-end damage was found behind a house at 410 NW 5th Avenue. Police haven't said whether it was involved in the crash.
Some neighbors said drivers frequently speed on Foster Road.
