Joshua's Path announces focus on helping care takers with life planning

BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. – Broward County's special needs community has a new friend.

The Goodman Jewish Family Service and the Jewish Federation of Broward teamed up to create Joshua's Path: Plan for Life. The program, founded in December, aims to help teens and adults with developmental, physical or mental health disabilities.  

Joshua's Path will be hosting "Arriving On Optimal Independence," a seminar at 9:30 a.m. and fair from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., June 1, at the Soref Jewish Community Center, 6501 W. Sunrise Blvd., in Plantation.

The "Arriving On Optimal Independence" seminar will also be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., June 9, at Congregation Kol Tivkah, 6750 N. University Dr., in Parkland. And it will also be held from 2 to 4 p.m., June 25 at David Posnack Jewish Community Center, 5850 S. Pine Island Road in Davie.
