Help cancer patients, get BBQ dinner

Relay For Life re-opening fundraiser

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. ā€“ Everyone knows someone affected by cancer and volunteers will help raise money for the cause in Pembroke Pines on Saturday.

Local 10's Kristi Krueger is the co-chair and will be at the Relay For Life re-opening fundraiser.

The first event is Saturday, Jan. 12, at VooDoo BBQ & Grill from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m.

With a $10 donation to the American Cancer Society, attendees can sample food. Raffle tickets will also be sold. The winner will receive a year of free food from the restaurant.

The restaurant is located at 151 N. Hiatus Road.

The official Relay For Life event will happen March 1st at the Walter C. Young Middle School in Pembroke Pines.
