Hialeah thieves fraudulently withdraw thousands of dollars from bank, police say

Incidents reported between May 31 and June 5

HIALEAH, Fla. – Police are looking for at least two people who they say withdrew thousands of dollars from a victim's checking and savings accounts in Hialeah.

The men were captured on surveillance video using the virtual bank teller at Bank of America at 175 Hialeah Drive.

According to police, the thieves withdrew more than $7,500 from the victim's accounts between May 31 and June 5.

From the surveillance images, it appears the same man withdrew the money, but the passenger could still face charges if police find that he knew the money was being fraudulently withdrawn.

Anyone with information about the identities of the culprits is asked to contact police at 305-687-2525. Those who wish to remain anonymous are asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
