1 dead, 1 wounded in Little Havana stabbing

Police searching for man, woman

MIAMI – One man is dead and another man was wounded in a stabbing in Miami's Little Havana neighborhood.

Police were called to a stabbing around 4 a.m. Friday at 1122 NW Third St.

Miami police spokeswoman Frederica Burden said a man was fatally stabbed during an altercation. Another man was also stabbed multiple times and taken to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

Police say three men and one woman were in the apartment at the time. One of the men is considered the suspect in this case. Police say the woman is his girlfriend, and it is not clear whether she will be considered an accomplice, or simply a witness who is being held against her will.
