MIAMI – A man, who police said made a bomb threat at Miami International Airport, faced a judge on Tuesday.
Edgar Navarrette, 43, is charged with a making a false threat.

Through an interpreter, Navarrette told the judge he was only kidding.
"It was a joke," said Navarrette's attorney.
"it was a joke?" Miami-Dade Judge Rodney Smith asked. "Well a joke gets you behind jail like this sir. Those jokes are not funny."
Judge Smith ordered Navarrette held on $7,500 bond.
The concourse was only shut down for a short period on Monday after the alleged threat.
