Larico Walker held without bond after shooting near football game

18-year-old among 3 accused of opening fire during high school playoff game

MIAMI – An 18-year-old man is being held without bond after he was involved in a shooting Friday night near a high school football game, according to police.

Larico Walker was one of three teenagers arrested in connection with the shooting near Traz Powell Stadium.

Walker, Kaion Lynch and Mark Trimble are accused of opening fire during a playoff game between Miami Carol City and Miami Central high schools. The other suspects have been released on bond.

Nobody was injured in the shooting, but fans, players and referees ran for cover after hearing the gunshots.

Walker faces charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm on school property, carrying a concealed weapon and grand theft.
