CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Lightning struck a house in Coral Springs on Wednesday afternoon, blowing some tiles off the roof.
The incident happened at 11748 Southwest 1st Street about 3:15 p.m.

The homeowner said she heard a loud boom and smelled smoke after arriving home. She then called the fire department.
No injuries were reported.
