LOS ANGELES -

The first song from Michael Jackson's posthumous album "Xscape" has been released, and it's vintage MJ.

"Love Never Felt So Good" made its debut during last night's iHeart Radio awards show. Current pop superstar Justin Timberlake provides background vocals on the track.

The song, which was written in 1983, will appear on the brand new Jackson album which will be released on May 13.

Reviewers seem happy with the new release, saying the sound is reminiscent of Jackson's "Off the Wall" album.

To create "Xscape," producers went into the Jackson's music vaults and pulled out tunes that never wound up on the iconic singer's albums. 14 songs made the final cut and will appear on "Xscape."

Jackson co-wrote "Love Never Felt So Good" with Paul Anka in the early 80's, but recorded the song around 2009.
