LAUDERDALE LAKES, Fla. – Deputies are investigating a shooting that took place in Broward County on Sunday.
It happened along North State Road 7 and Northwest 26th Street in Lauderdale Lakes at approximately 3:36 p.m.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, arriving deputies quickly found a man who had been shot.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded and rushed the victim to a nearby hospital.
A person of interest was detained at the scene, investigators said.
