County-border-line-area fire disrupts Turnpike’s traffic

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Miami-Dade firefighters worked to extinguish a car fire along the Florida Turnpike on Friday afternoon.

The fire disrupted traffic on the Ronald Reagan Turnpike’s southbound lanes near the Interstate 75 ramp, at about 2:30 p.m., near Miramar.

Miramar Fire Rescue personnel also responded to the county-border-line-area fire north of Hialeah.
