Florida Lottery says ticket worth $2 million remains unclaimed

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Check your lottery tickets! The Florida Lottery announced Thursday that a Powerball with Power Play ticket matching five winning numbers, worth $2 million, remains unclaimed.

The 180-day limit to claim the top prize will expire Thursday, Mar. 14 at midnight.

According to the Florida Lottery, the winning Powerball tickets from the Sept. 15 drawing were 3-20-26-43-48, and the Powerball was 1.

The winning ticket was sold at Handy Food, located at 21321 State Road 80 in Alva.

The Florida Lottery says players who may have purchased Powerball tickets from the store are encouraged to check their tickets for the Sept. 15 drawing.

While any Florida Lottery retailer can validate the winning ticket, the Florida Lottery says it must be claimed at a Florida Lottery district or at the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee.
