All Hands On Deck party set for April 25

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Fleet Week will kick off with an All Hands On Deck party at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on April 25.

More than 2,500 men and women of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard will participate in the 22nd annual celebration.

The Navy band Pride will entertain guests during a synchronized fireworks display at 9 p.m.

This year's ships include:

  • Amphibious Assault, USS Wasp (LHD-1)

  • Guided Missile Cruiser, USS Gettysburg (CG-64)

  • Guided Missile Cruiser, USS San Jacinto (CG-56)

  • Frigate, USS Dewert (FFG-45)

  • Submarine (SSN)

  • Coast Guard Cutter, USCGC Bernard Webber (WPC-1101)

This year's Fleet Week Port Everglades will commemorate the bicentennial of the War of 1812.

The celebration begins at Seminole Paradise at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 25.

The event is free to the public.
