Chuck Pagano inspires Colts after Dolphins win

Pagano diagnosed with leukemia in October

INDIANAPOLIS - After attending his first game since being diagnosed with leukemia, Colts head coach Chuck Pagano delivered an emotional speech following his team's 23-30 win over the Dolphins.

"It's already beat. It's already beat," Pagano said. "My vision that I'm living is to see two more daughters get married, dance at their weddings and then hoist that Lombardi several times. I'm dancing at two more weddings and we're hoisting that trophy together."

Pagano, who also spoke to the team before kickoff, watched Sunday's game from a private box at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Since being diagnosed in October, the first-year head coach has continued his duties away from the team's training facilities by watching practices and games on tape and communicating with Colts players from his hospital room.

Due to begin his second cycle of chemotherapy treatments this week, Pagano met face-to-face with his coaches in person last week.

Indianapolis is now 5-3 under interim head coach Bruce Arians.
