HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Crews repaired a gas leak that forced them to shut down part of Hollywood Boulevard.
All lanes of Hollywood Boulevard between 8th Avenue and the Intracoastal Waterway were reopened Monday evening.
Crews were able to fix the leak without evacuating residents in nearby homes, according to Hollywood Fire Rescue.
Those traveling to and from the barrier island were temporarily detoured to either Hallandale Beach Boulevard to the south or Sheridan Street to the north.
