MIAMI - There was a big donation to the arts on Friday.

Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross donated $1 million to the Miami Art Museum.

The donation will help pay for the art museum's new building, which is under construction in Museum Park in Downtown Miami.

Construction is well underway on the $220 million art museum, which is slated to open in the fall of 2013.
